What was it about those little kids that we all just couldn’t stop putting our hands together?
What was it that we just couldn’t control ( usually pretty self restrained) our giggles and smiles?
What was it that OUTREACH did and it did reach all our hearts?
They Shared.
Shared the smiles,happiness and promised a more sustained,pure form of the happiness to
those who really really deserve all the good in this world.
Our future,those kids who have it all,the enthusiasm,spirit and nonchalance
to break,cross and hop almost any barrier.
And with a little effort from our side,and looking at those exuberant faces,
I am sure they will do great. 
But looking beyond this,ie the tremendous level of passion of our OUTREACH team,
and Cognizant’s initiative to respond to society’s cause I personally feel that we
(”mature adults” 
) have a lot to learn from the kids.
Those few moments at the prize distribution ceremony seemed to be saying it all.
When was the last time I pumped my fists when I cracked a puzzle,or say coded
a beautiful logic and smiled at it profusely?(I am using “I” but wonder if it applies to lot of us?)
When was the time I giggled out loud?
Without inhibition,without thinking,Oh,I think I am past all this kiddish stuff.
Or what would people say when they see me loling like a jerk?
That’s not how corporates behave right?
When was it that I let my chalice of happiness flow over?
When did I let myself go??
And there they were,savoring every moment of it,clutching the trophies,kissing them,
flaunting them to one and all.
Even the teams who didn’t win were so happy at the prospect of just being there in the moment.
They were there as if telling us,yes,we value our victories and feel really happy when we win,but that’s not all about it.
To be happy because you gave in everything you had,to be happy coz you are in absolute love with what you want to,comes above everything else,and believe it or not,it even comes above winning sometime.
I know its difficult to reconcile with that funda,for the go-getters like us,winning not being anything!!!
But well,I was happy,and I smiled,thought of giving in some loud Yippes too but then,
the mature me kicked in.
(All said and done,It takes time to absorb good things,doesn’t it?)
Well,to wrap up,3 CHHHEEERRRSSSS again to OUTREACH and those beautiful kids who made BTP different for some time.
And for once,lets not put a price tag to our success and happiness all the time.
Its okay to just be happy,without any reason,nice to be Ms./Mr. Sunshine sometimes
(Special KUDOS for the event organizing team when they awarded trophy to a team who had come on the podium,but were not the winners,owing to confusion in the team name,Believe me,those smiles were just too good to be just looked at and not responded with smiles and appaluades :))
